Aerofoil Desk and Bureau by Sebastian Conran

This functionally innovative collection is designed for digital living in the home by better accommodating electronic equipment, neatly dealing with cables and plugboards in integrated conduits whilst maintaining a soft and domestic aesthetic with natural wood finishes.

The media unit allows TV screens to be mounted high-up in the living room without drilling into walls and have ample space and storage for peripherals and DVDs. Slide-out keyboard drawers on the Aerofoil desk maximise surface space and the storage trolleys are specifically designed to nestle beneath the desk and hold printers and filing.

Simple elegant floating forms reminiscent of biplane wings that compliment yet soften the mechanical appearance of computers and accessories, combined with an easily accessible under desk cupboard to house peripherals, cables and plug-boards.

Solid European oak and oak veneered board construction with powder coated steel shelf supports and conduit pillar. All woods come from sustainable sources.

The ergonomics of using a computer desire a keyboard at elbow height and screen at eye height. This is catered for with the keyboard drawer and screen shelf, leaving the working surface completely clear of equipment and cables.
