The TipToe collection has a set of design rules that run throughout. It allows consumers to customise their furniture. Tops are available in a choice of any size, four British timbers and eight leg colours. The top is a plane of hardwood that displays the beauty of wood. The tapered edge creates a weightless appearance while the ends display the thickness of the solid timber. The spray painted legs are a canter-levered triangulated structure. The legs are detailed with bevels, some taper and follow the curved knees of the structure. Brass bolts are used to anchor the leg frames to the top. They reveal themselves as a striking brass working detail in the surface of the top. The leg frames are easily detached for delivery. The desk features an innovative dovetail key drawer mechanism, cutting through the side of the drawer, revealing the workings from the inside and out.
