The winners of the 2022 Design Guild Mark are to be formally presented with the award this month at a special ceremony during Clerkenwell Design Week.
The ceremony is taking place on Tuesday 24 May at 11:00am at the Senator Allermuir showroom and will celebrate the 23 designs awarded the prestigious Mark in the Furniture, 2D Design and Lighting Design categories.
The Jonathan Hindle Prize, awarded to the most outstanding design in Furniture, 2D Design and Lighting Design, will also be revealed live at the event.
Presenting the awards will be Tom Lloyd, co-founder and director of Pearson Lloyd and Master of the Faculty of Designers. Tom is an industrial designer and was awarded the distinction of Royal Designer for Industry by The Royal Society of Arts in 2008.
Rodney McMahon, chairman of the Design Guild Mark, said:“We look forward to seeing you at the ceremony, which is kindly being supported by Allermuir. We will be starting the day with refreshments and a drinks reception which gives you the chance to network and meet some of the judges. Friends, family, and colleagues are welcome.”
