PLC chairs by Pearson Lloyd

Commissioned to design a timber chair by Modus, PearsonLloyd developed a simple, honest chair that does not try to be anything other than what it is: a humble re-interpretation of a modernist classic. The chair’s soft contoured frame is made possible by CNC milling, but the innovation is not in its structure, it is in its good comfort, strength, price, quietness, and timeliness. The chair has contributed to a renewed popularity for timber in the workplace and as such it has become a benchmark in its field.
