The past few weeks have been something of a whirlwind of activity with the launch of the new Design Guild Mark brand identity and website during London Design Festival (15-23 September).
Both have received overwhelmingly positive feedback since, but in amongst this we also exhibited 13 of this year’s Design Guild Mark holders at a special feature, right at the front of the main hall of 100% Design, Olympia London.
If you didn’t attend this year’s exhibition, you really missed out! We couldn’t be happier with the look of the stand and where it was positioned, and we’d like to say a big thank you to Media 10 for their support.
Here’s what a few of this year’s holders thought of the feature:
“100% Design felt more vibrant than for some time, and British brands were the cornerstone of that. As a showcase for UK designers and manufacturers it needs to be linchpin of London Design Festival. Having one of my designs on the Design Guild Mark feature and in such a prime spot generated a good deal of interest from consumers and potential new clients” – Ian Archer
“The feature was very well visited and previous visitors to the show thought the Design Guild Mark stand was the best yet. From a personal point of view, it did wonders for the Magnetic Copper Cubes and also it was a great chance to do four days of networking.” – Paul Kelley
“100% Design could not have asked for a more inspiring stand to greet people as they arrived at the show, truly a privilege to be counted among such talented designers.” – Byron & Gomez
So did you attend the feature? What are your thoughts about our new brand identity and website? Let us know what you think on Instagram (@DesignGuildMark) and Twitter (@FurnitureMkrsCo) and remember to use the hashtag #DesignGuildMark.
And don’t forget, the early bird deadline for submissions is 29 November, so start thinking about which pieces you’ll be putting forward for judging in 2019.
